Depression, not a big deal? well, that's what most of the people think. But Depression can destroy lives in seconds.



For those who don't know Depression is a state of low mood and aversion to activity. Classified medically as a mental and behavioraldisorder, the experience of depression affects a person's thoughts, behavior, motivation, feelings, and sense of well-being. The core symptom of depression is said to be anhedonia, which refers to loss of interest or a loss of feeling of pleasure in certain activities that usually bring joy to people. Depressed mood is a symptom of some mood disorders such as major depressive disorder or dysthymia; it is a normal temporary reaction to life events, such as the loss of a loved one; and it is also a symptom of some physical diseases and a side effect of some drugs and medical treatments. It may feature sadness, difficulty in thinking and concentration and a significant increase or decrease in appetite and time spent sleeping. People experiencing depression may have feelings of dejection, hopelessness and suicidal thoughts. It can either be short term or long term.


The side effects caused by depression is no less than suffering in hell!


1) Insomnia : Facing difficulties in sleeping.

2) Constant feeling of melancholy : Constant feeling of sadness without any cause.

3) Feeling fatigue : Feeling tired without working.

4) Emotional/Clingy : Overthinking, and Worrying too much.

5) Self Harm : Thoughts of attempting suicide.





Is There a way to escape deppression and lead a happy life?



Yes!!! There is!....


  • Deppression is like a small child who throws tantrums when he/she is ignored.


1) Stay away from toxic people : Sometimes staying away from unfriendly people helps. Toxic people don't need a reason to bully silently. They lower your self esteem, it becomes really difficult for a person who has deppression as well as low self esteem. (NOTE- stay away from TOXIC people only! Don't ever get cofused between toxic and friendly crowd)



2) Find a way to relax yourself : It can be your hobbies, talents, friends or even *food! drown yourself in these, spend maximum time in your favorite doings.

(* you're free to eat the food you fancy but eating off limits can also cause problems, stay balanced )



3) Sometimes a paper can help you : When there's no one by your side, writing it out on a paper helps, It helps us calm down. Writing a diary everyday would help you to stay determined and dedicated towards to goal.





4) Music is the soundtrack of your life : Work can sometimes eat up all your relaxation time, that's where music does the trick. Listening to music while you work or study might help your ming cool down instantly. (NOTE - always listen to a calm, soothing and happy music so that it

wouldn't distract you from your work or studies)




5) Don't fake smile! : Putting on a fake smile on your face is like encouraging deppression. Cry it out and let all your emotions come out of you and trust me! after doing this you will smile from the inside.










6) Don't be ashamed to seek help : Always consult a doctor when things didn't work out. They'll surely help you out. Never feel ashamed to seek help. Sometimes, you'll feel gratefull that you asked out for help.













7) BE BRAVE!!! :


" Being brave doesn't mean you're not scared. It means you are scared, but you hang in there. It's going to be alright".
